I have a ton of respect for people like overeem who lose a fight after a good winning streak and just get right back to it as if they're unfazed. I love to watch gus fight but it's annoying as hell for him to quit after he loses

Some people just fight for the title and see every fight as a way to get there. Others (such as Overeem) look at it like a job, you win some, you lose some. While i do appreciate a motivated fighter that wants the title, I think the latter approach is more healthy. Not everyone can be GOAT.

I don't think that's quite fair; Overeem is definitely gunning for the title.

He just doesn't let periods of adversity dissuade him from that goal.

Well of course he wants the title. But in all honesty, i don't see it happening. He's been know to crumble under pressure (not even talking about his chin) and i'd place Stipe, Cain, Werdum, even Rothwell above him and defeating him 8/10 times. I was actually surprised he was able to TKO JDS.
