He was blasting a cycle real hard for his return to kick boxing. Then out of nowhere he decides to retire and shrinks in the following months. His blood work must have been real bad to go cold turkey

I've actually met Overeem in person around january 2020 in a music festival in Pattaya - Thaiand, few weeks after his loss to Rozenstruik, and for my surprise he looked quite small, I know it was around the "econoreem" era, but he was walking like an old man with arthirtis and looked around the same size as me, and I'm a kinda of a manlet

I was tripping balls and stopped to buy an ice cream close to the entrance and I saw this familiar face entering the Festival but couldn't connect the dots, then he looked back at me like I was a long time lost friend, and he said "hey" like he knew me, then I realised "wtf it's Alistair Overeem" and I went to talk to him, I threw my ice cream on the ground because I didn't want to look like a pussy next to him, we talked for a bit, I offered him some ketamine, and we took a picture
