Im tired of all the shit Overeem gets.


The guy has fought 56 times. He has gone thru horrible losing streaks. he has been fighting for almost 20 years, yet I hear people always question his heart.


Then we have idiots here, trying to imply he is is cocky....Not once have I gotten that with Overeem. He is without a doubt the most honest fighter in MMA.

Overeem has only responded to shit talkers...Bigfoot, a known shit talker, who was talking about the reem(big foot also hates Barnett)....JDS who for some reason didn't like the reem and shit talked about him.

Never ever dodged a fight. I kept hearing idiots on here saying he was dodging JDS....The man who fought Badr Hari. The guy who wanted to fight Fedor.

Say what you want but Overeem doesn't dodge fights...He has the cojones to fight anybody.

Overeem openly talks about his loses.



Encourages other fighters....I remember he even talked to Mark Hunt once and gave him encouraging words that he could overcome his losing streak just like he(the reem) did.

He is Openly honest...Talks against the UFC, calls out the Ronda hype Bullshit.





I honestly think, some of you guys are just jealous of his physique and success because his attitude is cool as fuck so you people make up shit to hate on him.

I like overeem too but it's stupid to pretend he's not a very cocky guy. The real question is what's wrong with a professional cage fighter being cocky?
 
Rumor has it Reem took some piety classes to enhance his public image, but.... The North, I mean Sherdog never forgets.

It's pretty common knowledge that he is a cocky guy, which I don't really give a shit about because I like watching him fight. But you are wrong TS, he is cocky, and he also shows humility sometimes.
 
He's most definitely a cocky person. I can't really be sure I wouldn't be if I was a 6'5 killing machine with accolades from the highest levels of 2 different combat sports in the heaviest weight class.
 
Ubereem will rise and win the heavyweight title ! I'm counting on a 2 year reign once he takes out werdum for a second time. People are going to rejoice like its 2010 again and ubereem was destroying people.

The only evidence you people have is where he responded to JDS/Bigfoot who talked shit to him.

Its not a myth. He definitely was very cocky at one time basically before the bigfoot knockout and following knockouts. Hes much humbler now but he was definitely cocky. Still is a little bit at times. But he wont beat Werdum. I do highly respect and find his ability to keep coming back after bad losses and reinventing himself inspiring though.
 
I would say that reem comes across as extremely confident in himself. Not usually in a bad way at all, and it's probably hard not to be when you're a badass hw fighter like that. But sometimes he does step over the line into cockiness. The only example I can think of is him telling bigfoot he was gonna fucking destroy him, and then getting a little too complacent in the third.

All in all I agree. He's not usually cocky just very confident.

We're talking about a guy that ran to Holland so he won't get tested. Then the next time he was in the USA, he tried to run away from his hotel from being tested but got caught and pissed hot. For years he claimed that people linked him to steroids because they were jealous when he was super genetically gifted.

Wandy gets a lot of shit for not taking a test, but no one brings up Overeem.

Overeem had a legit injury when he pissed hot...Also the whole holand thing was a scheduling problem.


I find it hilarious tho how you people go after overeem.

I see you people talk about physique but yet let JDS physique pass....which has lost much more size...just look at how small his traps are now...Atleast Overeem kept his traps.
