Overeem grew up in Holland and has a Dutch mother. His Jamaican roots help creating an special specimen. What he used I don't care. Dutch have an everage length of 6f0 (what is like 1.84m?). Anyway. I get that part. But all the rest. LMAO. Far fetched. Anyway, you see it a lot when someone is adopted and has a twin in another country. The person that grew up in Holland usually is a 10 cm's bigger.

A perfect example is the guy in Eindhoven and the "hoofdschoppers", he basically got kicked in the face five times before passing out. I think this guy represents most Dutch chins.

Peter Aerts, Sem Schilt, Remy Bonjasky, Overeem obviously, Tyrone Spong, Ramon Dekker, Gokhan Saki, Badr Hari, Ernesto Hoost etc. etc.

I firmly believe Overeem was lucky in the year he won the K1 WGP. He fought against a much smaller HW in Spong and that was a really close fight. After that he fought an injured Saki that could use only 1 arm and an injured Peter Aerts (who went through hell before getting in the finals).

Struve has a really bad stand up game. He would be annhiliated in K1. Also rewatched the Christian Morecraft fight not so long ago. He really took a beating in that fight. His defense is just terrible. His heart and actually also his chin is admirable if you look at the damage it has taken. I fear for his future though, can't take many more of those beatings.

His losses were against KO-masters. JDS loss was because he was like 19 and JDS is well JDS. Against Roy Nelson and Travis Browne he threw ridiculous flying knees.

Anyway these fighers might look Dutch in length but they don't really have the Dutch style in my opinion.

I mean his heart and his attitude aren't really Dutch. His kickboxing style is. On the other hand in the K1 he usually plays the defensive striker. Most Dutch strikers are offensive and have a faster pace. Reem's leg kicks come close to Aerts and Daniel Ghita's. I'm not sure if you noticed, Struve really doesn't use his jab properly but his leg kicks are freaking hard.
