I am told that Italy has lots of rolling hills. So wouldnt being extremely tall enough to see over those hills which probably requires more height than seeing over some grass, be more of an advantage for the Romans? But they is short.

Also, how come the Kazakhs, Mongols, Uzbeks, and Northern Chinese are not the tallest then? They evolved in some very flat landscape.

Actually, they arent that short overall. There are plenty of tall mongolians. But they dont grow much veggies up there, which maybe why they are not as tall as the dutch.

Significantly taller than 6' average? Doubt it. The average tallest people on record, at the moment, are the ones living in the Dinaric Alps. And they are "only" 6'1". If there were some people in China that were dwarfing them, I'm sure some social scientist would have documented it by now.

Yep very light skinned with big noses (comparative to most Chinese) and rounder eyes. I think they also have a good amount of facial hair

Half our country is underwater, we have to be tall to see over the dykes for if/when the tide rises.

There is no need for being racist. In Holland we firmly believe that everyone who lives in Holland is Dutch and therfore is entitled to also use our genetics.

Well, there are some ethnic groups that produce huge people, but on average, not so much. The Dinka are the tallest ethnic group in Africa (tied with the Tutsi, apparently), but they only average 6'0". They also produce guys like Manute Bol (7'7") and Luol Deng (6'9"), but those are just freaks of nature like you find in any ethnic group. Yao Ming is massive, but Han Chinese on average are not.
