I just wanted to say that I don't remember seeing him but Jack Kilby spearheaded the creation of the integrated circuit at Texas Instruments and that ultimately led to the information age we are currently experiencing. Without Kilby we don't have smart phones, computers, the internet, etc. We can point to Bill Gates but Kilby was instrumental, no pun intended.
