Choose the most talented actor.

Tommy in Magnolia, Kubrick, and the 100 other fun films. He's the last actor that understands that he dances for us.

Tom Cruise is a great pick. Not only he's the blockbuster king imo, he's a fantastic actor. I wish he goes back to acting chops.

You only removed 1 name from the poll? Smh this poll should have been just about Cruise, Pitt, PSH, and Norton.

Then you're still wrong, thats Harrison Ford or Sam Jackson

Btw Samuel L. Jackson has done 66 films while Tom Cruise only has done 29. However Tom Cruise is the lead star in pretty much every movie he's been in. While Sam Jackson does a lot of supporting roles.

Harrison Ford is not even in the top 10.

In terms of pure acting ability Philip Seymour Hoffman got my vote. He was a better actor than Tom Cruise

Adjust the boxoffice for inflation. Harrison was in 4 star wars movies and 5 Indiana Jones movies. That alone made more than Cruises entire filmography. And thats without mentioning other big films he was in like The Fugitive or Blade Runner 2049

Yah I understand the box office inflation. Which is a fair argument and yes Harrison Ford should be in the top 5 based on inflation. But Cruise starred in the 80s as well. So you can say the same for his films.

No you cant. Ford has 4 films in the top 22 all time and 5 films in the top 100. Cruise has 0 in the top 100.

Take a look at this. Tell me what you think.

None of that is adjusted for inflation so why does it matter? You didnt even answer my post. Tickets today are close to or greater than $20 so of course they're going to have better numbers when in the 70s/80s tickets were only a couple of bucks. How can tom cruise be the box office king when he has 0 movies in the top 100 and hes ranked #5 in your own list? He might be your favourite but hes not the king.
