OTM XLC 240 Gi?!?!?

that is one of the problems that we have struggled with in making our gis. we want them to be competition legal but the rules on that allow only for traditional fabric. no one makes hemp in that weave so we had to get a custom weave made, major pain in the ass and quite a bummer.

Why would you EVER want to compete in a gi that light?

So you don't have to cut that extra pound or 2. I'd want one.

Weighing in with this XLC compared to my atama goldweave makes about 3 pounds difference if I was cutting it close to my weight class I could go with the XLC and make weight. That being said now that I've rolled in it a couple times it isn't a bad training gi either.

Koral light is not a traditional weave. They don't have any problems.

Just an FYI I wore this yesterday at the ibjjf chicago open with no issues at all. I saw maybe 3 others that wore them as well. So they will be allowed by ibjjf. Also I just as a note to how much I like the gi, I ended up weighing in at nearly 10 pounds below my weight class but I wore the gi anyways as it has become one of favs.
