Other than being big does Darren Till have any other skills?

Till is a talented fighter, just got his title shot too early against a much more experienced vet...

Go back to stalking bitches on the internet you weirdo...

He's good at choking in big fights and throwing strikes with his head up so he can get KO'd

And now the loud mouth know it alls come out of the wood work.

I could see him making HUGE improvements because:

He hates his family and wont let thoughts about them distract from his training and fights.
Also he is always looking for more fighting experience, even attacking untrained drunkards.

I think he has a decent striking, most of his fights he is very tentative and hesitant though except for the Cerrone one. He is talented but the problem is because UFC are so desperate for a star and Dana pinpointed Till to be his new cash cow, just like Ngannou. And they hype them out to be some unbeatable God. So when they lose it seems like a huge drama, but really its UFC fault and also the gull-able people who fall for it.

This is the first "Till wasn't that good" thread.

Congratulation TS.

<Huh2>

He' can't box, we saw that, he cant wrestle. he cant do JJ, what can he do? he's suppose to be MT specialist and got knocked down with his hands down against a wrestler? like seriously.

a wrestler that outstrikes strikers

why do you cunts always have to pop up after fights to discredit the loser/winner?!

He can’t wrestle? He stuffed Tyrons takedowns you clown

He doesn’t have experience. Woodley said he didn’t fight off the darce.

Remember when Woodley got TKOd by Marquardt or even boxed by Macdonald.

like many fighters.

till relied on his size.

he got his shot at the belt too early.

love to see kabob fight Woodley.

he would also lose his 0.

He's good at striking but not as good as he was made out to be. People took the isolated Cerrone fight to decide he's the next big thing. I rewatched his previous fights and he has a lot of bad moments against low level talent. He did okay against Thompson but idk how he even won that fight. It's not like it was back and fourth I had Wonder boy winning four rounds pretty clearly, only giving Till one round due to a knock down.

This. He bullied a man who struggles with pressure fighters who was also likely giving up 30 pounds in the cage that night. I have no clue what the judges were watching to give him the win over Wonderboy. He did better than I was expecting, but he absolutely shouldn't have won. Then he fights Woodley for the title and throws about five total strikes ovet the course of about six minutes before getting grounded and thoroughly annihilated. LOL!

I always wondered, do these strikers actually learn wrestling when they get into MMA or just take down defense?

I knew from the pre fight interview that Till was going to lose. He said that he felt invincible. Thats the wrong mentality to have when you are fighting someone like Woodley, a guy that can capitalize on very small mistakes.
