Watching the weigh-ins, embedded vlogs and the UFC countdown, I've got to say it feels as though OSP has got the right mindset going into this fight.
Unlike Cormier who always seems terrible frustrated with Jones, Gus who seems very demotivated, OSP seems to be at ease, calm, collected and confident. He kind of reminds me of Weidman leading up to the Silva fight, or even Chuck Liddell when he was in his prime.

I doubt he will win against Jones, but at least his mindset is on point.

Did you guys feel the same watching the staredown and the behind the scenes?

Maybe OSP benefited from this whole Conor circus. He was pretty much able to fly under the radar all week into a title fight.

I liked what he said at the weigh ins. When your given an opportunity you make the most of it. I know its unlikely for him to win, but I will root for him.

There isn't much pressure because everyone expects him to get thrashed by the new UberJones. Probably making a good bit of money for this too

It's a sacrificial lamb mindset. All that talk about why not fight the #1 p4p fighter and all David needed was 1 stone to slay goliath was cute. However, when you are not ready for that level of competition, you gonna get curb stomped on live ppv.

Ive been saying OSP is one of these guys that cannot be gotten to mentally. Nothing fazes the guy. No moment is too big and he doesnt fear anyone.

yeah, it seems as though he is very calm and collected about why he is doing what he is doing, it brings out a side of him that I hadn't noticed before. I'll root for him because I'm not a huge JBJ fan, although there is only a slight slight chance he will take the W

Imo he has to fight with a "fuck it" attitude. Just have fun and pull the fucking trigger.

Yeah he has a great mindset going into this fight. That being said, no mindset will be enough to counter all of the crazy skills and physical attributes of Jon Jones.

Daniel Cormier will be humiliated and broken. Bets on Daniel winning should not even be allowed as there is not even a 1 in 100000000000000000000000000000000000000 chance that he will win. Bets should just be what round Jon will win in, and how he will do it.

I think so too. And thats what Jones is so good at, he always comes to enjoy the experience of fighting. and thats something Cormier lacks. He seemed so preoccupied with the idea of beating Jones, its in his way. thats why I'd like to see Rumble vs Jones as well. Rumble also always seems so calm and collected.

Yeah he seems like hes taking it easy and isnt feeling the pressure. He has nothing to lose
