So On April 4th MMA Hour show with Ariel Helwani, DC stated that he is offering OSP & His team to train with him in AKA, Where he will provide the air fare & OSP's team's lodging & fooding from his pocket. In case OSP can't fly to Cali, He & His team will take the tour by themselves.

In return OSP said.

Well, actually I was listening to the show when he actually said that, because he actually... I know Daniel, we talk. Every time I see him we get to talking and stuff. And my manager, they text from time to time... But, it's just one of them situations. Like I said, from day one I've been here with my trainers and stuff. It's one of them things that we talked about, I've been with my camp from day one and I appreciate the invitation and everything, all the hospitality. Even going back to the Strikeforce days with Bob Cook. Definitely appreciate the invitation, but I think with everything we've got going on over here... My coach came up with a solid game plan and I think we definitely gonna be okay."

Daniel wants his AKA boys to injure OSP like they do to each other so Jon will cancel and wait for Cormier again

DC could still come down to OSP's camp and give him whatever advise he has

It wouldn't make any difference

After that DC was a bit dismissive of OSP, said he'd fight him on a days notice.

Wouldn't make a differencedifference and it seems like Cormier is implying his team sucks...I understand why he doesn't want his help.

I don't think it'd make a big difference at this point. Otoh, it might've opened the door to train there full time which imo would be better in the long run

Well to be fair, it does compared to AKA.
It does but that's his team...it will be fucked up to leave them/their facility for the most important fight in his life imo.

It's not like he is an up and coming guy, he is a pro who has a very establish pro team....so I'm glad he said no to Cormier.

Copying a BloodyElbow poll, I see.

I say keep your knees away from American Kneeblowing Academy.

Yeah if OSP somehow won (like he believes he will) it would be incredibly awkward when they'd annonunce that the two training partners must square off for the staredown after the big win. As a reminder that the winner takes on the "real" champ.

If he wants to make the walk to the octagon, walk away from the offer
