Who you got? T-City is a big 45er and is definitely better on his feet than Khabib. Do you think Khabib would hesitate to shoot in on the best BJJ finisher around? Or Khabib smash as per usual?

Could be interesting. Ortega is dangerous for anybody on the ground and that’s where khabib is comfortable

Will wait to see how Khabib vs Tony goes down to render an opinion. Right now though, Khabibs grappling and control is almost mystical.

Ortega loses the fight until he wins.

Is it wrong to say this fight interest me more than Ferg vs khabib?

You already have the fight next month Tony is a better more veteran overall fighter version of Ortega

ortega would sub khabib. or knock him out.

Let’s see how Khabib vs Ferguson goes first.

Hard one to call , But i'd edge just slightly towards Khabib due to his awesome ground control and strength , but than again Khabib could be caught with an uppercut by Ortega ....

I usually side with consistancy. And Khabib is the more consistant choice. He's shown thorough dominance, and against better opponents, where as Ortega has dropped rounds to fighters that Khabib would make look silly. The only way Ortega wins is by small chance of hail mary finish.

Gillespie beats Ortega, but doubt he beats Khabib. Ortega is not that big for a 145er, hence his steroid use bitd. Ryan Hall has better mma bjj then Ortega and beats him at 145. Although record doesn't show it, but Fili beats Ortega, is bigger then Ortega, and has a very similar skill set as Ortega. Ortega vs Tony, Ortega vs Gillespie, and Ortega vs Chiesa, are interesting though.. but think Ortega gets beat by Gregor and Tony.

Being comfortable fighting or grappling off your back seems like a bad idea against khabib. I guess we will find out with Tony how that works out. I feel like khabibs sub defense will keep him out of trouble and he will automatically be put in the favorable position he likes to fight from.

Apologies raven I started my own thread on this. Didn't see this one.

My answer to “Khabib vs anybody “ is “Khabib by wrestlefuck” until proven wrong

I’m completely indifferent to Ortega, but it’d be cool to see him emerge as the next new phenom in the division.
I always like when we see fighters pop onto the scene and become the top dog

Be interesting for sure. Khabib has never lost a round in the UFC, let alone a fight, against Ortega who has never won a round in the UFC, but still won every fight.
