Ortega vs. Guida

Rooting for ortega but guida is very good at being the spoiler and lay and praying exciting dudes

This weekend Brian Ortega is fighting Clay Guida. I personally think that Guida has nothing for him. My money is on Guida tapping or being tko'd inside 2 rounds.

Provided my prediction comes true, my question is:
How close to a title shot does this put Ortega?

I agree that Brian will win, and get the stoppage, though I'll be putting money on a sub more likely

He's won me money on his last three fights so I have become a fan pretty quickly!

I don't think he is anywhere near the belt though, but should he win he needs to fight maybe the loser of Holloway/Lamas?

I dont think Ortega is as good as many here seem to think he is. He should still be able to beat Clay tho albeit with some problems IMO

So what? Ortega is still pretty green and Brandao is actually pretty good standing. Obviously Ortega's biggest strength is his submission game but he isn't afraid to stand and trade. Isn't like Brandao finished him
