When they announced Ortega vs Aljo it was a head scratcher for me. Ortega said he was going up to LW after the Diego Lopes fight because the cut to 145 was too hard for him. Him & his team been talking about going up to 155 since the loss to Yair. So him taking another fight at 145 makes zero sense to me.

That could be a possibility. I do think no matter what happens Ortega is done & his days of being relevant are behind him. I'm not gonna lie tho, I would tune in to seeing him fight at 155 just to see what would happen. Put him against Moicano or Chandler.

They both had their chance in the spotlight … they’re both very tough … but both old and both had their chance - they don’t want to truly fight the hungry harder hitting Silvas/topurias …don’t want to grapple Evloev …. They all want old man volk and to bypass the young killers

This is a money grab … neither are truly the top 3 … but both are names and top 4-8 to justify a co main (even though both are coming off losses and both missed weight)
