Ortega also accepted Khabib fight... !

They both must carry their ball sacks around in wheelbarrows

{<buffer}Triple Threat match muthafuckas!

Now add a table and some crisco, and... I've said too much.

Him and Max are both warriors.

Unlike Mighty Duck who not only won't move up in weight, he refuses to fight when the champ is willing to cut down to his weight.

Brian would have a stylistically better shot at beating Khabib than Max imo.

Have you seen the size of mcgregor lately, how on earth is he going to make weight healthily in 6 days notice, a featherweight fighter doesn't have that problem.

i just wonder where eddie sanchez is right now, dude probably helps edson with the rehab and wants none of that

Yeah, I said this in another thread, the fact that both of them offered to step up makes me even more excited for Max vs Ortega. Personally, I would have rather seen Habib fight Brian, but Max is great as well.

You understand he is injured right now right?

These guys are awesome.

They put the fighter/champ mentality on a new level.

I hope Max is making bank for this.

Conor is the real mighty duck, D.J at least defends. The only excuse people have to hate on Johnson is why can't he move up and fight guys bigger than him.

Honestly I figured it would be laughable unrealistic to expect Ortega to be available as a backup. Now he has announced he has. Which means if Khabib manages to screw it up, we have a plausible chance at seeing Holloway Ortega moved up to this card. And just like that there's hope for the world.

After I liked this I realized it wouldn't be for the title though. They can't make 145 in time.

If we could end up with Holloway Ortega at UFC 223, who fuckin cares, even a little, if it;s for LW or FW or a newly minted WWE HW Champion of the World or the Fighting King of France or World Street Fighting Champion of the World or, I mean, really, the hell with it. The FW division is at its peak in terms of how interesting it is anyway, at least for now, since McGoat's clearly not coming back down to it.

Ortega is a much better fight, but honestly, I'd really wish it was khabib that called out of work.

Aldo should have taken the fight. Perfect fight to get him back to relevancy.

Yes. Especially after he wanted to go up anyway. If he could have made it competitive we would have been an instant player in the LW divison.
