40 years old. Far, far, far too young to pass.
Life is short Sherbros. Get the extra scan. Get your physical. Talk to people if you're depressed. Get emotional if you need to get it out. Write something down for catharsis if you don't feel comfortable opening up.
I have no idea what took place. All I know is the guy was extremely talented, and while polarizing, was liked by many. RIP.
Believe he died in his sleep, likely from heart failure. He had a history of heart related disease and illness and was in an ICU in 2017.Has the cause been disclosed?
Oh, okay. Makes sense.Believe he died in his sleep, likely from heart failure. He had a history of heart related disease and illness and was in an ICU in 2017.

Take a trip to Canada, get some private cat scans done. Can do your entire body head to toe in Alberta for about 2kThanks to corporate greed, we can’t. Only government employees and companies with government support have good health care.
This is the guy Sean Strickland almost fought during a grappling training session.
My condolences to his family and friends.
edit:
To bad he didn't just snap it. There are a lot of stories out there from regular people that have trained with Stickland about how he is a douchebag in the gym.
RIP Orlando. Any word out on how he passed? I haven't seen it. 40 is young especially for an athlete.
... I don't even know the man that well. I never even saw this video before tonight. So don't put other people's words in my mouth. Im only sharing what I have heard about StricklandMy how the tables have turned. Everyone was saying HE was the douche for trying to snap Strickland’s arm when he had a fight coming up and how he was a douche on the BJJ scene as well.
If this is true, then that brings some comfort he (to my very little medical knowledge) likely experienced no discomfort in passing, I guess that is (the only) good news about this. Bummer, also thought he was 50+(still too young) but 40 is really too young.Believe he died in his sleep, likely from heart failure. He had a history of heart related disease and illness and was in an ICU in 2017.
Sad, but it has to be said that running a mountain of gear for years cannot have helped his health.
