I've only had my PS4 for a few months now and I decided to get a docking station and a second controller for it. My PS4 usually just stays in my bedroom on a 43" TV along with my Switch and my Series X stay down in my man cave hooked up to my 60'' TV and Series X. I have multiple controllers I use for trivia and sports games to play with company over beers.

I'm the only one that uses the PS4 in my bedroom, so I figured I only needed one controller. It kind of sucks when the charge runs out so I ordered a $15.00 aftermarket controller and and a $10.00 docking station, because I figured it's not really going to get much use.

I'm honestly blown away by the quality of this controller. I've avoided non brand name controllers like the plague as I remember those Mad Catz controllers for my GameCube and N64 being pretty shitty.

This one looks and feels identical to the PlayStation brand Duel Shock. I guess time will tell if it holds up, but I'm wondering if any of you have had any experiences with these. Here is the make and model of the one I just ordered.

The only difference is that the buttons have the X, square, triangle, and circle marks on the button. It even lights up the same as the PlayStation brand controller.
