Joel Alvarez really switched gears after his L from Damir. Looking forward to see that guy again too !!

Riddell or Ferreira would be fun. Joel looked much better after losing to Damir, but Damir shut him out that fight. In my opinion his best performance in the octagon so far.
 
Yeah nothing topped the gladiator and the black and white interviews. Don't even care if it was corny af, it got everyone hyped. Even though Face the Pain was horrible it also got me hyped too. It was so bad it was good.
 
I miss the post fight press conference when all the fighters were there at once, they had some hilarious moments.
 
One of the best show/movie theme songs ever. Up there with Megaloman, Murder She Wrote, Monk and The Hulk series.
 
That opening stoked me from 0 to 60mph in mere seconds. I miss it too. Granted, there were things UFC needed to change but THAT was never one of those things, goddamn it.

UFC better be growing and developing and same as MMA as a whole. When they had sponsorships, individual short designs, cheesy ass intros, it all seemed to capture the imagination more. Maybe it's for the best though

I feel like this forum as a whole just as a rule hates whatever is going on in front of them,and pines for.... Anything that isnt right now. Ive been here a long time,and its always this way. No one is ever thankful for what they are just recieving. "God what a shit card,it was better when we had 5 cards a year"

Eh. UFC has never been better. Last year was epic as hell. Quality of fights is number one but it's ok to feel nostalgic for elements of the past

Of course,nostalgia is a great thing. But here it only comes before or after immediatley shitting on the current era
 
How can it not? Fight night, last words. Win or lose from here on, clear as black and white. Contrasts to old days - just like BJ said, ass kicking is timeless - kicks into modern days.

Just phenomenal.

Now we have Ron Pearlman blabbering on about nothing with corporate stock music.
 
It’s bizarre to me that the face the pain intros are fully made and shown by ufc BUT only at live events in person…

that said, user twfjake makes badass custom face the pain intros for numbered ppvs and i watch those before every ppv

such a shame for ufc as the ftp intro is so hype along with that prefight back and forth
