Ona scale of 1-10, how much do you trust science?

Are you asking how much I trust the process of asking a question about the natural world, then devising a way to test which answer is true and which answers are not?

Aren't you an anti-vaxxer without any formal medical knowledge?
[<diva2]

No idea what kind of bizarre response that is to my post, but no. Didn't take the covid shot, and drug discovery is what my wife does for a living, so I'll take her opinion over some dorks on a karate forum or Stephen Colbert's dancing syringe skits.

So you are an anti-vaxxer? You can just say it rather than this little fancy dance around it.

I would say more than 4 but less than 7

Sure, if that makes you feel better about getting bullied into taking injections you don't need, go right ahead. I didn't, and didn't get sick or get anybody sick, and you're just pissed because not everybody was as scared as you.

Me: "I don't trust one vaccine"

Person: "ANTI-VAXXER!!!!!!!!!"

It was even sillier than that. I didn't even bring up any vaccine, I just said different scientists have contradictory opinions and new technologies have room for improvement, and that guy jumped straight to "anti-vaxxer".

Your name couldn’t be more appropriate.

Science? 100%

Because one of the main principles is that it's constantly tested and changed when new information is presented.

Now of course there are a ton of pseudoscience con artists out there and now politics has entered the realm to influence science, and of course that's all bullshit.

But real true science is unbeatable.

That's a weird question, because science is what we can observe and test. If I can observe something or prove it (although they don't like the word "proof" in science) I trust it.

Science also has theories and hypotheses that we think may explain things, but by definition we are aware that we may be wrong.

Now I don't Trust the Science ™ if that's what you're getting at.
