O'malley faceplants Aljo in round one

O'malley faceplants Aljo in round one

I also agree that Aljo will frantically drop to the ground to administer CPR, avoiding a murder charge.

Its just too much pressure for Aljo. O'malley lures Aljo into exchange and faceplants him in round one. Size and speed difference is inevitable. Seans grappling is also very underrated. O'malley takes title and i think he holds that title long time. Hes such a massive guy for that division that i could easily see him moving up to 145 and being dog top there aswell.

What happens if Aljo gets one takedown?

I’d bet on O’Malley strictly for all the weird fuckery that the UFC has done for this kids career, from favorable matchmaking to gift decisions. Now the boss is handing Aljo keys to a Lamborghini?
This fight smells.

Why is there so much pressure on Aljo? If O'malley loses he most likely never gets a titleshot again in the talent filled BW division.
Honestly with how big of a draw O'Malley is, I'm almost certain he would get another title shot

Lol O’Malley is a popular American fighter, he’ll get title shots until the day that he dies.

The only way he doesn’t is by declining out of fear when Umar is champion.
Is he actually popular, though? Or is he another Paddy where they try to pretend he's popular but actually nobody gives a fuck about him?

Sean could win like that, but I'd imagine the fight will be him getting back to his feet every round and trying to outland while standing until decision. Alijo just needs to stay on the grind. Sean got up multiple times against D1 Yan who gave Alijo problems so it's not a walk in the park for either guy. They both are each other's weakness.

I hope Omally gets exposed but corruption judges highway robbery aljo.

I don't think O'Malley has much chance vs Aljo. I think Aljo will take him down and control him fairly easily. However, I'd love for O'Malley to win, just to see the meltdown.

I don't see Aljo trying to keep it standing for even a round. His stand-up isn't good and he's gonna be against one of the rangiest and best strikers in BW.

I remember when I first came to this forum, I seemed to spend all my time defending O'Malley because he was the 'current thing' at the time - an easy target.

I think he's a great fighter, but I don't think he's as good as you seem to think.

I doubt he beats Aljo, but if he does, he's not the kind of guy I'd expect to hold the belt for a long time. He's in the most competitive division in the UFC, and there are some absolute monsters on the horizon, and plenty of guys with skill sets that will prevent O'Malley doing what he does best - accumulating massive numbers of striking combinations.

I think if he does get the title, great, but he's in for a murderer's row of opponents, most likely starting with Merab, then Umar further down the line.

Sean is dangerous from the outside, but he is no Moraes. I dont think anyone can do that to Aljo anymore. It's more likely to me Aljo surprises people with his standup.

O'Malley has this hype with his striking so Aljo should just fight going 100% for takedowns. Like not throw a single punch just to piss everyone who was expecting something that could've happen. Do a complete anti-fight and embrace the heel.

Aljo can land plenty at range as well. Sean looked genuinely confused by Pedro to me. It looks like if Sean can't get his opponent to bite on his feints then he looks much worse.

For the record I think Aljo beats up Suga Sean from the outside before snatching him up and beating on him for a couple rounds. Then after a couple rounds he thinks he’s ready to trade and gets fucking dummied by something hard and violent. Suga Sean champion of the world via ko in the early part of round 3

Yeah thats another factor. O'Malley has not had to go 5 rounds. Aljo went 5 hard rounds twice in the last 14 months.
