PWD Ole Pete's Chat Thread Deluxe(comes with fries)

It looks like young Bell wouldve won back to back titles under the old school format, oh that really chaps my ass! 🤬

This is the 2002 Real World Champion Sacramento Kings all over again!

Yeah, I mean he and Larson were crazy consistent all season. Bell would've been a deserving champ. We don't need a reset. You'll see guys be more strategic in a full season format and with the amount of talent in the field, it'll be a way better product.

W.O.W. has been running Fremont Street in Las Vegas for the past couple weeks and the open of the show sounds exactly like the opening of Sam Rothstein's Aces Up tv show in Casino, I appreciate that

Close this damn thread. You suffer in silence like the rest of us. You aint special!

No way, Rex, ole Pete gots way too many nuggets and pearls that needs to constantly be dropped, for instance, did you know that Wicked : For Good drops in just two short weeks!

Oh, you better believe ole Pete is as excited as it gets for this one, I am counting down the days!

There's a Luna Vachon doc and I didn't expect to hear anything about her family pimping her out to Piper when she was only 12.

I could pull an Adam Pearce and ban you from the ar---- thread, but you'd show up anyway because he sucks!

Ugh.

I met Luna Vachon once in 1994, and she was so fuckin cool. Even though she was a heel at the time, she was so nice to us. I always remembered that. Despite all that's goin on in her life, she loved to perform for people.

On one hand, it fascinates me how TNA just won't die. On the other hand, it makes me feel like Frank Grimes after Homer won the power plant contest that was supposed to be just for kids.

@My Spot this is a really good line up this week, lotsa interesting topics, i just barely started but already got a head shaking chuckle at @Bix complaining about Dave being too uptight about the spelling of Starrcade, @Bix of all people, the guy who once enlsarged a photo of Dory Funk Jr's chest hairs so he could examine them one by one to figure out if they had been dye-jobbed or not, that fucking guy LoL

  • Starrcade ’86 with a full rundown of everything that went down in both Atlanta and Greensboro, featuring Ric Flair vs. Nikita Koloff, the Midnight Express vs. Road Warriors scaffold match, Dusty Rhodes vs. Tully Blanchard in a first blood match, Paul Jones becoming a BALD-HEADED GEEK, and so much more.
  • “Bullet” Bob Armstrong making his return to WTBS after 2 years away to help his son Brad against Bill Dundee and Jimmy Garvin.
  • Bruiser Brody issuing a grandstand challenge to Antonio Inoki.
  • Bob Roop getting fired as the booker in Florida.
  • The Fabulous Ones returning to Memphis, which pisses off the Rock ’n’ Roll RPM's.
  • Jonathan Boyd showing tbe world his New Zealand Death Box on TV, much to Lance Russell’s consternation.
  • Fritz Von Erich battling Abdullah the Butcher at Reunion Arena and why Bruiser Brody was there even though he wasn't booked.
  • Saturday Night's Main Event headlined by Randy Savage vs. Jake Roberts.
  • Andre the Giant giving us an update from London after he gets reinstated.
  • All of the big Thanksgiving shows from around the country.

Hopefully it goes to ESPN

Hopefully it goes to Youtube, they already got those great WWE Vault and WCW Vault channels so just go All In on that, create an ECW Vault fior those weirdos that like that nonsense and build up all those gimmicks on a regular basis

Also, release all those thousands of hours of Territories stuff that you spent all that money on and do nothing with and is just setting there in some dang ole warehouse wasting away, you cowards!!!!

Wait, did Dave not realize there was already a game show called Starcade (that also aired on TBS)?

Oh shit, yeah I didn't even think of the Vault channels. Good call, Pete.

I loved that show, still do, they play it sometimes on the old retro tv channels that I watch, I love seeing all those old arcade cabinet video games and the primitive ass 80's computer tech gimmicks & gadgets that they give away as prizes, such great stuff

@My Spot Have you ever seen this Saker One video game cabinet, that shit is mind blowing for the 80's

I guess you gotta click through to Youtube to check it out but its worth the adventure
