when you start noticing hot moms as apposed to younger girls you know you've crossed some sort of personal thresshold

I noticed that a few years ago. I'm in my early 30s, and I started noticing how women in their 40s and 50s are still really hot to me. Then I noticed that I would see a hot mom/daughter combo out and wouldn't give a fuck about the daughter and only liked the mom.

It's when I realized for sure that I was no longer officially a boy, but an old grown up. It just sneaks up on you.
