I meant to say it the other way around, fuck. I thought Goldberg sucked for years but he didn't pretend to be something he's not and he wasn't horribly biased. I'd take Goldberg over Cormier at this point.

Hell naw. Cormier at least has proven expertise on one of the key aspects of the sport. His bias can be insufferable but Goldberg sometimes sounds downright ignorant.

Sometimes I miss him. Sometimes I think we'd be better off with him back than with a majority of the commentators they have now.

That might have been when he fought Ferozzo actually ... whatever fat slob he made look stupid and then chanted jiu jitsu with his team, that shit was gold. Tank was in the commentary booth, and after Vitor smoked Ferozzo (who I think had just beaten tank the tourney prior), tank is all salty like "What, did he just win the olympics or something?" Fucking loved those tourneys.

Thats the problem,is the unrealistic expectations.

In Boxing you have lets say the HBO broadcast team commentating a fight between a WBC champ and maybe a guy who is champ from another sanctioning body. This frees them up alot more to say what they want to say about the fighters and the situation. UFC simply does not offer that freedom. These men are just doing their jobs. Dont hate the fuckin player.
