i dont remember liddel being a bum. watching this makes me feel like the entire current top ten of 185 and 205 would absolutely obliterate this version of liddel.

Wild that Vernon White, who had his first Pancrase fight a few months before UFC 1, was 2 years younger than Liddell. Of course White went straight into Pancrase with nothing but a TKD background, so it's no wonder he didn't do too well in his early fights.

White was only 32 but had 46 fights by the time he fought Chuck, so he was older in fighter years and damage.

Can't believe this is considered a throwback. I remember vividly watching this card with my brother when I was a freshman in high school. He gave me a 40oz mickeys and we bbq'd with his marine buddies. There was a PrideFC the weekend before as well. Man MMA was something special in the 2000s.

LOL this is brutal but I know what you mean. not Chuck's best performance. Vernon is the other 50% of the fight and he came to throw down.

Thing is great fighters can have off days. Especially when they take a lesser opponent lightly, which I think happened here.
Chuck has proven BETTER performances against better fighters than Vernon White.
