It's a great fight and I think Stipe is not the best match up for 2024 Jones. Much harder than Volkov, Blaydes or Gane.
Even tho this should never been a title fight and it's 6 years too late, it still is a great HW fight.

I've noticed most people say Jones will win, but when you try and ask how the answers vary. No one thinks he can KO or sub Stipe, which is the only way he's lost before.

Neither have been super-active and regularly fighting, but when you've been gone little over 3yrs and your first fight back is with a P4P great? That's a big leap with no warmup fight. Love Miocic, but will hate to see it when Jones finishes him.

But, here we are - older Stipe who has been retired for 4 years… god knows if he’s even training. he’s at least still going to the gym.

But yea, old Stipe VS No-USADA Jones… I think Jones takes him down and submits him after ground and pound.

It’s a shame… we all saw how USADA Jones got exposed… Jones barely made it through his last 2 fights at LHW, against perhaps weaker competition than the guys he fought in the past.

I think the later it goes the worse it is for Jones tbh. If he wins it needs to be within the first 10 mins.
