Some guy was banging at my door for 10 minutes, I ignored it for awhile cause I was playing battlefield but eventually got annoyed amd went to the door.

It's some old Asian guy who said he bought a TV off Facebook marketplace amd he was here to pick it up. I told him Im not selling any TVs and he showed me the messages

He paid for the TV sending some random stranger the money without even seeing the TV. The he drove an hour and a half from Toronto to pick it up from my house. Only problem is they stole his money and gave him a fake address

I told him he got scammed and he was clearly upset but how can you be so dumb. Never pay upfront to someone you don't know and a product u never seen.

I couldn't even feel bad for him cause he was so dumb

If that did happen in that way, the old man simply overestimated the scammers intelligence.
If he goes to the police, the Canadian irs, federal police and mail will get involved. Vpns don't hide information from those groups especially tax men.
You can't really hide from the tax men or pay them off. If it's an overseas thing the foreign tax men, police will be involved.
You can commit crimes but if you don't pay taxes on income you are screwed long term. They will get you.

It'd be more than wise to give up your TV if you've already recieved a bunch of egg rolls for it.
From what we've seen in the past, Jackie Chan won't even let you slide on this one.

Damn JJJJ, you'd better shmooze our @Law Talkin’ Guy for advice, and I Mean Quick!!!

You don't seem to be the type that could serve this possibly super-long jail sentence without being violated, molested, graped, Solemnized, and a whole lot of other painful actions that end in the letters "ed".

If ya need a bodyguard, it's very possible Tootsie Roll Diddy needs a new line of work.

Selling used crap on Facebook marketplace, eBay etc doesn’t qualify as taxable income.
