The only real excuse is the PEDs. Otherwise, Gus hasn't improved enough while Jones improved leaps and bounds... and in a short amount of time. I remember after Jones vs Gus, I said DC would beat Jones since he could negate the wrestling and Gus really showed the holes in Jones' boxing game (holes we all thought were probably there based on his past performances). Then he went and stood in the pocket with Glover (which should've been suicidal) and destroyed him there. So ever since around that time in 2014, Jones far surpassed Gustafsson.
