First of all it seems weird that Rumble had a dental surgery last week when the blackzilians posted that he was ready to step in 3 days ago.

Either way, Bader and Gus should both be ahead of OSP. Anyone know why they weren't considered for the fight?
 
Bader has a concussion and Gus has motivation issues and isn't ready to fight for a while
 
Bader looked like a child in his last fight

And guss is probably not in shape

Bader already got fucked up by Jones and just got knock dead by Rumble, and Gus..How longer fans will squeeze the fight with Jones to get him a Rematch?? He already got a titleshot coming from a loss and you want him in there for a interim world title with 2 straight losses??
 
Bader just lost, AND he's been decisively beat by Jones already, albeit some years ago. That is, honestly, not a very interesting fight. Less so than OSP.

Gus is on a 1-3 streak. Yeah, I know, that first fight against Jones...but he needs a win, seriously.
 
I thought the UFC has already named OSP as the opponent as a matter of fact I know they did and I don't to much like it myself but he was the only guy with enough balls to step forward
 
Think about Gus' position... He's probably not in peak shape. Fighting Jones is no small task. If he loses to Jones, he's lost to Jones twice, Rumble and DC.

He'll probably be YEARS AWAY from another title shot.
 
If Gustafsson loses another fight you can kiss his future in the sport goodbye. He needs a win and he needs a full-camp for Jones.

More ridiculous things have been done for other fighters, plus OSP is what on a 1 fight winning streak, isn't top 5 and his most notable win is over an aging, war torn Rua. Either way this card has turned to shite.

Turned to shit for you, Jones is on the card so that alone is phenomenal.
Only casuals don`t like to watch MM, can`t wait for his fight with Cejudo.
Pettis vs Barboza is bananas
Whittaker looking really good at 185 and takes on Natal who is on a 4 fight win streak, very interesting fight for the MW division.
Yair Rodriguez is really fun to watch and i want te see his evolution.

Pettis/Barbooza sounds good to me. Stacked.... hardly. UFC on fox 19 is stacked compared to this.
 
What's funny is people are forgetting who these fighters are being asked to fight, guys with their career on the lines right now are not going to want to jump in there with him. People like Gus and Rumble want to be at their very best at this point before they take on Jones.

bader doesnt deserve anything near a title shot after that rape that occured vs rampage. Gus is still to busy being sad about life n shit to fight apparently. its a shit fight shoulda scrapped the card either way.

Unfortunately they couldn't find any MW's to move up....... In all honesty its probably a good thing Jones gets a tune up, this was probably Cormiers best chance to win.
 
Gus should get a tune-up fight. Three of his last four fights have been against Jones, Rumble and DC. He should get two wins against top 10-15 fighters before fighting another of the top 3 guys.
 
Bader? That would be a simple NO don't nobody want to see that again. Gus has a problem with BBG most of the time, Beating Black Guys.
