Social Ohio high school and sexual writing assignments

They weren't.

The content in question came in the form of prompts included in the “642 Things to Write About” book, which is part of the senior-level, college-credit course, Writing in the Liberal Arts II, at Hudson High School...“The district immediately determined this writing resource should not be in the hands of our students, and, on Monday, collected the books from the rudeness enrolled in the course,” he said. “It is important to note that at no time were any of these inappropriate writing prompts assigned as part of the class.”
alright that’s fair then. i have no problem with that, if that’s the situation. i got clickbaited.

Good. problem solved.
I don't think anyone needs to be fired over it since it wasn't an individual teacher.

I thought I read that the same book had been used for the last 5 years??

It's really crazy how quickly people will believe things without questioning or thinking about them.
In almost every one of these kinds of stories that hit the news, it's almost never what the headline portrays.

There are going to be some people in that town that are going to hear this story, believe it as is, and think their kids' school is run by sexual predators.

stop screeching. No one tried to “sexualize kids” here. They were never given any assignments related to this stuff. It just happened to be that in a book of almost seven hundred prompts two mentioned sex and one mentioned a beer and the kids were never asked to do any of those prompts.

Could you guys clutch your pearls any harder over nothing? Wet paper bags have thicker skin than a lot of you.

Hint; don’t look up “catcher in the rye” or the content may make someone as sensitive as you faint.

Yea, perhaps I overreacted, im willing to admit to that if what you say is the case.

Next time try and be a cooler person though, it makes people more willing to admit an error. I just didnt happen to care that you insulted me.

the average reader, like myself, is not going to think someone would create a story about literally nothing. this story would have to be about kids writing sex essays, otherwise it wouldn’t be a story at all, right? i’m surprised the thread hasn’t been deleted tbh

It happens all the time though. All of these kinds of stories that sound completely crazy and made up, usually are crazy because they're made up. They're almost always missing a key component of information, or the information that makes the story a non-story requires reading beyond the headline.

It wasn't meant as an attack, just an observation. It explains how people react the way they do on here, and on social media.
It's honestly pretty scary if you think about it, because it's harder to clean up this kind of misinformation.

Apparently there are 2 versions of the book. There's an adult version and a "Young Writer's" version.

I wonder if they meant to use the youth version and didn't realize the difference.

This is the beginning of end that the bible talked about. Soon every child will be born a transexual prostitute! If only the election hadn't been stolen, President Trump would fix this.

Meanwhile the rate of sexual intercourse in American teenagers is declining...

It seems there's been an increasing effort to sexualize children, and it didnt begin with this event. People need to realize this, on a large scale, and soon.

The Obama library tranny reading, the netflix cuties show, Biden, and so on. It's been creeping in, and many have been warning about it - although it often falls onto deaf ears.

There are :eek::eek::eek:s in high places. Thankfully, there are also people like this mayor who will do their best to have none of it.

Wouldn't this speak to their competence

LMAO you guys are still obsessing over this? He read them a children's book called It's Ok To Be Different. It didn't have anything to do with sex. All the kids saw was someone dressed flamboyantly. You just hear "Drag Queen" and lose it.

Clowns have been making balloon animals for kids long before this. Is that sexualizing them, too?

A book with some naughty words. We all know teenagers don’t think about sex or send racy Snapchats at each other.

Seems like only a few months ago the same crowd was panicking about Dr Seuss books being taken off the market.

Like all religious conservatives (even though the poster you quoted is a gimmick and isn’t actually religious) every condemnation they make is really an admission. They like them some trannies.

How does he put on his pants in the morning over those huge balls he has?

If the writing assignments were signed off on by the board I’ve got no problem with them all resigning. I’ve got no tolerance for the sexualization of children.
This. If they are being lazy and just approving anything woke that crosses their desk, they should be fired just for being lazy.
And lol at all the losers here justifying this. Sexual predator apologists ITT
