One weird thing there is the idea that the participants in a beauty contest, specifically their ethnic identity, can be 'righteous', or otherwise.

Also, co-signing the idea that 'Miss Germany' should really mean 'Miss Ethnic German' is, well, in the light of the history there, an 'interesting' take. I'm picturing a scenario 40 years or so ago, before the brown-skinned ethnics really were part of german culture, and I'm imagining Xodice examing the Miss Germany entrants to see if their hair was maybe a little too kinky, maybe their noses a tad too hooked, asking questions about who their grandparents were....

Anyway looking at the quality of the 'ethnic German' entrants, I'm not surprised they had to fill the ranks with ethnics, several of the caucasian women in that picture are so Mid it hurts and by far the hottest in it are the ethnics. Another win for multi-culturalism, imagine some of those Mid white women going forward to the world stage and humiliating Germany, its a good job they have some diversity to salvage German pride on the world stage.

Most of all though its hilarious to point to ethnic diversity in Germany as an adverse consequence of WW2. Yes, Germany did indeed fight WW2, in some ways, in the cause of an ethnically homogenous germany. Guess what, bro? They fucken lost. So yeah, this is the consequence. FAFO.

This is a dude who foams at the mouth looking at a Miss Germany lineup with brown faces in it, and says, in exactly these terms, (in the context of previous poster saying WW2 was fought for 'righteous' reasons), that there is nothing righteous about a Miss Germany lineup with brown faces in it. Maybe not the dude to be running cover for, or downplaying the fascist leanings of, given his explicit commitment to racial homogenity and/or his explicit antipathy to racial diversity.

So yes they have. I don’t know if the government did this during the civil war, and my guess is that they did not, but today and at least since WWII I believe, direct family members of Soldiers killed in the li e of duty become Gold Star families and receive all kinds of support and benefits for life. We are talking monthly stipends, education, healthcare and other things. The government today really does care for the survivors.
