Official Women's Division Discussion #27

tate v. holm could be a fight night headliner
tate v. nunes sounds more compelling than any other BW championship fight right now
tate v. aldana/ladd/chiasson would be a nice highlight for the younger fighters

i hope miesha makes enough to set herself up for the next stage of her career (personally i think she'd be great at some sort of fitness/lifestyle promotion)

while looking at the BW rankings i realised that we need holm v. de randamie 2, wonder why that hasn't happened already (aside from the obvious)

What a coincidence that we were talking about Robert Sergeant recently and now Rin wants back into the UFC. Back when Rin was originally in the UFC Robert went into detail about just how hard her management was to work with and that the UFC could not wait to be done with her contract so they did not have to deal with them anymore. So I would think chances of her getting back into the UFC are not good. I mean look how how they are doing Kaufman and all she did was avoid fighting McMann.

Well...
If she actually changed her management... The doors may open... After winning fights against non-can fighters though.

I also believe she may go to bellator instead.

The tricky thing is her manager was her husband. I don't know if he is still her manager now but he was back then. Her manager also did not want the standard entry level contract length. Usual entry level contract length are 4 fight contracts well he only wanted a 2 fight contract.

Is the obvious GDR ducking the fight? Holm asked for the rematch 4 times now, so don't expect it to happen.

Catching up with Aspen Ladd.

-Macy Chiasson matchup at UFC Vegas 32
-Knee surgery/recovery
-Amanda Nunes/Julianna Pena breakdown
-Being open to short notice fights at 145

Great video hearing her enthusiasm about taking 145 fights makes me upset they never offer her a Anderson or Fee fight over the years.

Nah, Fujino is gonna throw Hamasaki out of the ring onto the announce table in front of Megumi Fujii.
Luring fuji out of retirement.

On the fight, fuji, after surviving 3 imanari rolls into reverse heel hooks (with one breaking his ankle) will get fujino in a pinned position...
But right before the judge calls a stoppage, shinobu kandori will get into the ring and attack her with a kendo stick while shouting that Garcia is ducking her!

Im stoked
