Shannon has been looking to do a card east of the Mississippi. I had recommended Florida (solid fan base there).

Will she arrive fresh or stanky? The straweight match Sharon Jacobson v. Kanako Murata is intriguing, two highly accomplished wrestlers. Great card - looking forward to all the fights. Shannon noted it will be on fight pass 12/15 after UFC.

Lovethpatra Young choked out Cynthia Arceo in their rematch last night. Their last fight ended with an accidental eye poked.

Arceo has been hyped up as a big prospect in the past, due to her Karate background, and cause she knocked out some atomweights.

Maybe. You also have Kailin Curran (1-6), Astro Girl (1-4), and Bantamweight Edition Jessica Eye (1-5; really 2-5) given some rather long runs, so I guess it depends on how much the UFC likes them.

Yea, this is the classic loser leaves town fight. Bec vs Ashlee was one also. Hopefully they put on such a good fight that they keep the loser also. I have a feeling Sarah Moras vs that other girl might have been one also. The only thing that will probably work in Sarah's favor is how bad 135 has been. So maybe they are not as eager to release fighters from that division yet.

I don't think you're wrong, although Yoder is 0-3, which could have been 2-1 with friendlier judges. Pretty hard for a bantamweight to get cut (unless they try to start a union) but straws are two a penny.

Curran got a FOTN bonus for her UFC debut fight. Astro Girl got a POTN bonus for a submission victory (over Curran, as it so happens). I suspect that after there is such a big money investment involved in giving fighters such bonuses, the UFC becomes more reluctant to release them than might otherwise be the case.

That probably helps, yes.

I don't recall any of Moyle's fights, but in Pereira and Taylor's cases their fighting styles certainly didn't help their cases. And to be blunt, Curran, Chambers, and Eye are more traditionally attractive than those three, and in WMMA that tends to play a big role as well. Yoder and ABC aren't bad on the eyes, so I'd expect them to be given a Curran-esque leash for their roster spots unless they stink it up in a fight like Gonzalez.

A great couple of months coming up in wmma - two goat title fights, plenty of hard to pick matchups, UFC debuts for Barber, Cifers, Lipski and Antonina, two Invicta cards ....... can't wait.
