But I'm kinda antifan at this point.

Additionaly its crazy to make Eubanks/Shevchenko as main event of high profile card. MSG is very expensive arena, how do you imagine both figthers Eubanks and Shevchenko trying to sell tickets in NY? Hey you have choice: New York Knicks or Eubanks/Shevchenko.... How much pressure will be on both fighters when they won't be able to sell tickets. And if they want to make Shevchenko star how 50-100 k ppv will help with it? This whole situation is crazy and is huge blow for UFC brand. Also I kinda feel like Joanna wanted to avoid backlash from fans.

People were upset because they changed very good fight for fight nobody cares. But again imagine anounncing JJ/Shev as main event of MSG...ye maybe reaction would be not that bad, but I can see many people unhappy about it.

The UFC just want to see two bodies in the cage fighting for a belt, it's pathetic. Never mind if they're the best version of themselves.

Joanna needs to commit to 125 - if DC is not allowed to hold two belts, no way Joanna does either - turn down anything they offer for Toronto and really work on getting ready for a title fight on the big ESPN card in the New Year. Hope this is what happens.

Btw any idea who this lewyy guy is, the one who gets all the good quotes from Joanna on IG?

Hopefully Stamp losing here doesn't affect her MMA career too much. It's silly they've had her training/fighting MMA for the past two years just to throw her into a ruleset she's never fought under.

To tell the truth it's a bit strange why they hold a white towel inside the hoop. Aspen certainly needs to go to 145 if 135 is so hard a cut for her, it's not as if the girls there, Cyborg apart, are outside her league.
 
Ladd doesn't seem big for 135 at all? Idk what's up with the Nova Uniao weight cuts.

They hold a white towel inside because some dumbass made the hoop somewhat see through.
I think it was ketlen vieira that flashed everyone because the light hit the hoop just right and they didn’t have the towel inside the hoop.

It does mean things aren't as transparent as they should be, the process not the hoop .... get some thicker material.

Aspen does carry a decent amount of muscle mass but this picture was 2 weeks ago after weeks of dieting. With her build, she should walk around like this and diet more to make weight (135) easier. Ladd - and her camp - wants to be as heavy as possible in the Octagon, it seems.

She carries too much body fat. She could make 135 with ease if she kept her weight under control.

The guy that just typed that is carrying 15lbs. of extra fat that he needs to get rid of. Just sayin'.
 
Does anyone know what Aspen Ladd weighs out of camp because
based on what I've seen of her on Instagram she looks like she weighs
160 lbs.

I would tend to agree. She really blows up. And that makes it harder on her both long-term and short-term. Short-term because it is just harder to make weight, and long-term because the more often she has to undergo radical cuts, the harder it gets to keep making said cut. Also, long-term hormonal dysfunction is far more common in women.

Guys can get away with it much longer. No, no quantitative studies exist, because the extreme weight cutting done cannot pass a scientific ethics review.
 
I do wish she'd get her walk around weight shit figured out.... if she gets that shit under control she'll be champ.

I think Ladd's weight will stabilize with time. She is still very young. Before, it looked like she still had some "baby fat". Now, she's friggin' yoked. No idea if she can trim down to make the cut easier, but gott dayum that's a strong woman.

Sheena Brandenburg and Jackie Vandenburgh were supposed to fight for "Diamond Fights" and had their hands wrapped and ready to go. Then the Delaware commission let them know the whole card is off because the promoter bailed. They got commission checks but not sure if they will be able to be cashed.

1. Kaytlin Neil beat Candace Maricle via unanimous decision

A bit on controversy at the beginning of round 2. Maricle wasn't paying attention and talking to her corner when then the ref started the round and Neil charged at her striking and caught her off guard. Maricle and her team protested vocally after the fight.

2. Erica Torres beat Kate Teehee via tko round 1
3. Brenda Gonzalez-Means beat Tamikka Brents via tko round 1 to win the 135 title (Brents came in 8 pounds heavy)
4. Jessica Middleton beat Calie Cutler via armbar round 5 to win the flyweight title

Cutler was getting the better end of the striking but would take down Middleton, who was active off her back. Had several armbar attempts (most of round 1 was Cali defending an armbar). With only 17 seconds left Middleton got a triangle armbar to win.

Also Friday night Sumiko Inaba def. Nadine Mandiau by TKO round 1 at Tuff-n-uff to retain the 125 title. Inaba had some nasty hands and ended it standing.
