Easy for me to say from my computer but yeah I think his coach is putting the wrong thought's in Damir's head if he is expecting him to come out grappling. I'd be pretty surprised if Mairbek's first line of offense wasn't aggressive striking.
True. Plus he could be bs'ing me, but to be fair he's always been honest with me in the past so I tend to believe that's what he's thinking. But I was expecting a bit of a stand up war in this fight myself.

Rothwell should be the type of fighter JDS feasts on being the quicker and faster fighter he has ran through the likes of Shane Carwin/Roy Nelson/Mark Hunt bigger slower fighters who get out-paced and out-struck. The thing is those beatings from Cain, Reem & the close fight with Miocic took a huge toll on JDS.

For Rothwell to go from getting tapped by Gonzaga to the win streak his is on is just a amazing turn-around. Slowly, developing into a more well-rounded fighter in particular in grappling tapping out Josh Barnett. Rothwell's chin can be a huge factor in the fight if he walks through JDS best shot to land one and potentially finish JDS.

I'm going with JDS decison, Rothwell is very hittable as previous fights show and provided he fights smart and stay away from Rothwell's power he should win it.

Verry happy Blaydes is the dog. Taking him +115. Give me the giant American wrestler vs the guy who couldn't stop an under sized Brazilian from taking him down.

Hadzovic is a really good fighter and a nice guy. His gym Rumble Sports is going great at the moment with call ups to the UFC & Invicta. I've spoken with the head coach there for a long time, about this fight he said he expects Mairbek to have a grapple heavy approach but is confident that Damir can keep it standing and win the fight there. Of course he could be wrong on one or both of those things. I'm not sure, against most others I would've backed Damir but I'm not sure here, even if it does stay on the feet Mairbek is great there. I might wait to see if Damirs price gets better before fight time then go very small on him.

There's no way Taisumov is gonna come out grappling. For me the question is whether he should be a 3 to 1 favorite in a striking match. Tough to say given that neither guy has faced an awesome striker to gauge.

I like that line too honestly. Igor is dangerous early, which makes me think Blachowicz will go to a more grinding style early. Since 2011, Blachowicz has only had one fight finished. Coming off two losses, I think he'll be conservative and try to minimize Pokrajac's chance of finishing him.

Also Pokrajac needs to put up a servicable performance in front of the Croatian crowd, so both should be tentative. With the image of Latifi in the fetal position in my mind I was skeptical, but it's worth a unit in spite of that and Pokrajac's recent history.

Wow, if that's the case - Confidence dropping in Rumble sports, if that's what their head coach feels is likely to happen.. Taisumov is a way better range striker than Hadzovic, why would he go for a game plan like that?

I think what he could be saying is, Taisumov has a path easier traveled if he takes the fight to the ground because fighting a pure stand up battle lets Hadzovic fight with his strengths without having to be honest about getting taken down.

But if Taisumov wants to make a statement like he wants to, he should keep it standing and gun for the KO.

I don't know guys, that's just what was said. I fully expect Taisumov to be happy to strike and look for the knock out. Which as Rebel says - plays to Hadzovics strengths more.

I'm also with Joe taking Blaydes, I would've backed him as a slight fav, so happy to get him as the dog.

£50 JDS decision @ +650. I think this is his most likely path to victory.

I dont know mate, 5 rounds and let's just say allegedly off the juice I just really struggle to see him last that long, I think most likely jds to win tko in the second or third,

Could well be but +650 against +160 against a man with a granite chin i will take my chances.

Yeah that is very true and I don't think rothwell can pressure like Cain did and he also isn't as calculating as ecoreem was in the last fight.

Surprised to see Johnson by dec odds are much higher than his moneyline odds

He literally said he will make this an ugly fight

Might be some value there.

I was surprised at first too since this could be an American wrestler taking down Tybura for 3 rounds, but if you look at their records and how these guys never go the distance it makes sense.

Want a price above +500, but considering I need degen action on this i'll just play the dec line where its at come fight time if there is no movement
