One of the biggest drawing fighters of all time was a female. It's having an unlikable charisma vacuum as champion which is ruining everything.
 
If they had a real main event this card would actually look really exciting, no diss at wmma I have no problems with it. But that’s not a ppv main event, Amanda VS another really great fighter sure, but this should be very one sideded. The rest of the card shaped up nicely though.

She's a violent finisher though, I don't get why fans of fighting wouldn't want to watch her.

It most likely will be, I don't know what other title fight they could put on at this time, hopefully there's a really good co-main at least

My concern is most casual fans do, and in a sport like prize fighting you need to appeal to the casuals as that's where the dollars are coming from. A fighter can be as dominant as possible, but if people don't want to watch them fight it hurts the UFC and the sport's growth.

Regardless of what you think of Ronda or Nunes, a division going from headlining a million buy PPV in front of 60,000 people in Australia to pulling the lowest buys of the modern era two years later isn't good.

yeah she beat Megan Anderson which i never expected lol - even though Megan is super hot, she sucks, but anyway - i thought Spencer looked like a soccer mom before coming in.

To all the people answering with naptime gifs:
Spencer delivers every time. This chick is scrappy and can take a lot of punishment. This fight will be epic, I'm telling you. And there is a chance for big upset, which is another reason to watch. It's very much like Gaethje vs Ferguson, no way it's gonna be boring. If Nunes fucks her up inside a round - fun to watch. If it takes longer - more fun to watch. If Spencer beats her somehow - big drama show.

I get your point about women main eventing as a whole, but there are some exceptions.
 
This will most likely be the lowest selling modern PPV. UFC doesn't care, they get their guaranteed pay from espn so why not?
 
was an event cancelled? I swear ive seen a promo during 249 that had an event listed for May 23.
