Tecia is 10-2 in her MMA career and has never been finished. Her 2 losses were to Rose Namajunas in 2016, who obviously has gone on to become champion, and last time out to Jessica Andrade, who is currently ranked second.
Boogiewoman is 14-2 having lost her last 2 fights by TKO and UD against the champ.
Both women are predominantly strikers - Joanna is a tall rangy girl who likes to throw straight and fight from range with a versatile kickboxing output whereas Tecia is more of a flurry and pressure fighter with very tight counters.
I see Tecia being able to pressure the Boogiewoman, back her up, counter and cut off the octagon to land on her. JJ will not be able to establish her range on a fighter as hardworking and mobile as T4. Another loss here should hopefully be the beginning of the end for her UFC career. Tecia has the tools to shut down her gameplan and hit her with short clubbing strikes, maybe even catch that glass jaw.
