I thought it might be sensible to have separate threads for the strawweight cast announcement and for the light heavyweight cast announcement.

Talent wise, this is an extremely marketable season, Joe.

Gonna see some Brittany Pullem level talent on that show.

Jamie Moyle is a teammate of Roxanne Modafferi at Syndicate MMA

I foresee a looming problem with Shedoggers who are used to referring to Joanna Jedrzejczyk as JJ, now that both she and JJ Aldrich are going to be on TUF 23 together.

Of course if you saw the photo of the post event dinner you'd already have a good idea of who made it into the house. But never mind.

I think most will know that Kate Jackson fought Jedrzejczyk a couple of years back, she also handed out a beating to Paulina the sister* of Bonkowski who will be coaching for Team Joanna.

Can't f'cking wait to see Jamie Moyledo her thing. Jamie has always been a quality fighter since I was matching for her at TuffNuff. When she's sharp her sprawl is so good it's practically an offensive weapon. Her transitions are also quality.

Askafan, I just want to say that your post was very informative, so much so it is going to be the impetus for a bonus question for the TUF 23 Game I'm hosting! It would be Bonus Question #4.

Something like... Will Joanna mutter Kate Jackson's full name, "Kate Jackson", when talking about/to her, as a sign of begrudging respect and revulsion, much like a villain would, for instance, will she say, "Oh, so it is you, Kate Jackson, you are not going to be winning here, Kate Jackson, I want you to know this".

A similar technique was used by the alien forces of the iconic, landmark sci-fi flick, "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension" to address each other in comeradeship.

Here is an instance for reference:
