Triller Fight Club presents Triad Combat on Saturday, November 27 at Globe Life Stadium, Home of Major League Baseball's Texas Rangers in Arlington, TX and live on Pay-Per-View. The extraordinary event will also feature a Special show by International Music Icons, Metallica as well as other Special Guest Performances. Building on the enormous global success of Verzuz and TrillerVerz "Legends", Metallica and friends will play during the Event.
Triad Combat is a revolutionary, new combat team sport which incorporates boxing and MMA rules in an aggressive, fast-paced manner with the fighters competing in a specially designed triangular ring over two-minute rounds featuring professional boxers competing against professional mixed martial arts fighters. The specific motto of leveling the playing field between the two sports utilizing crossover gloves and withholding allowed is meant to offer boxing and MMA fighters an even battleground where neither opponent has a greater advantage.
Triad Combat will be produced by the award-winning Nigel Lythgoe, Triller Fight Club visionary, and the producer and creative force behind 'American Idol' and 'So You Think You Can Dance'.
The main event of the evening is 9 rounds heavyweight division clash where the two-time Heavyweight Boxing World Title Challenger Kubrat Pulev collides with the two-time UFC Heavyweight World Champion Frank Mir. Who will come out on top?
Commentator of Triad Combat will be former UFC Hall of Famer, Bas Rutten, who'll handle duties alongside Sean Wheelock, Ray Flores, Spanish language commentator, Ernesto Amador, and beloved ring announcer, Michael Buffer. Joining this talented broadcast team are music and pop culture icons, Fat Joe, Eric B. and Crimefaces, to add their special commentary perspectives.
