I'm impressed with Lubin's offence, as the fight goes on it seems to get better but Ramos just keeps trucking along and putting a stamp on these rounds whenever he traps Lubin

Had this thought a minute ago. Have been having these thoughts since I turned it on during the last fight. Jabs in boxing are crisp and stiff, damn near every time. MMA jabs are usually kinda meh, if they're thrown at all

I've always said a few MMA fighters are a good jab away from becoming champs. Look at what it did for GSP. You'd think everyone would be training it. Simple (not easy) and effective.

Bad adjustments from Lubin. Trying to find a powerful counters instead of working behind the jab really played into Ramos' wheel house.

I've always said a few MMA fighters are a good jab away from becoming champs. Look at what it did for GSP. You'd think everyone would be training it. Simple (not easy) and effective.

I remember after the Koscheck fight it being a huge talking point, and they were saying jabs were the future of MMA striking and everyone would look to that fight and alter their styles accordingly. And that was 13 years ago now. You do see an MMA fighter with a nice stiff jab from time to time, but as a weapon, sport wide, it's kinda an afterthought. Never understood it.

I got Canelo but I think Charlo has a good shot. Canelo hasn't looked great but I think he'll get to Charlo late in this one.
I think its a good matchup, even with the weight difference.
