Maybe because he didn't actually earn most of his cash...just a thought sir.
That's an opinion, who's to say he didn't earn most of his wealth. The way that he handled the long flu season and being the front runner and trailblazer to bring back sports alone shows how much of hardworking businessman he is.

Without the Fertitta bros he has absolutely nothing.
Let us never forget that sir.

Sure, without the Fertittas he would not be in the position he is, but it took three of them Frank, Enzo & Dana which I'm sure they all contributed in their own personal ways to get the UFC and each other to where they are at.

Not sure why it's always brought up and frowned upon it's like friends helping each other out and taking a gamble in a business venture is a bad thing.

That is kinda short sighted, clearly Dana had the work ethic and enough intelligence to run a business, he clearly would
Be doing something, to the extent position he is in? Probably not.

I just find it weird people get so upset and hung up on someone's else's cash, business & how they got it to who they have no connection to.

Its frowned upon because Dana belittles fighters that would smash his face in without pause if he wasn't who he is.

Also frowned upon because Dana is worth a half billion dollars and paying fighters fuckin peanuts...all while never fighting a day in his life.

There's many reasons to hate that twat, these are just a couple sir.

Honestly, I like the fact he belittles fighters and calls them out on shit. Everyone on this forum & across all other types of social media is guilty of it.

Him being worth half a billion and paying fighters "peanut" is not mutual. Dana is not the owner and with the amount corporates, investors, sponsors whose hand are in, they have more say on what the amount of pay is statured at for fighters. In the end it's business.

There are many reasons to dislike the guy, that I can't disagree with it. But hate? Come on man, even you know people who say they hate Dana, deep down are just bitter and jealous.

Alexander Volkov showed up to di slap event tonight showin off his new Slap shirt n even had a special walkout. Bro's ready to take part in the fastest growin' sport on di Earth!!

When I watched powerslap to see just how bad it is, it took me a while to realise it was forrest griffin catching lads. It made me feel very sad in a way that I can't quite explain.

Some are bitter and jealous of Dana sure, but most of us just hate fake pieces of shit that steal from the people that make them rich.

Without the fighters there is no UFC - we aren't there to watch Dana, he's just a promotional mouthpiece to get attention for the fights. Which does have value, just a tremendously fractional value relative to the people who risk their health and well-being by putting on a simulated fight to the death for your entertainment.

Dana isn't solely responsible for this (underpaying fighters/the structure of the sport), but he is the figurehead that long ago agreed to this structure and has used his power to keep it in place for decades, so he is partially responsible.

The fact that you like a billionaire fight promotor abusing his underpaid staff by creating illegal market situations so he can endlessly exploit them really says something about you and you might not like it.

Always remember - he's a boxer-exercise instructor that got run out of Boston by Whitey Bulgar's crew and if he wasn't friends with mafia-connected billionaire sons he'd be a fucking nobody.

I mean credit where credit is due, he took advantage of that connection and managed to spin it into tremendous wealth and success. Still doesn't change the fact that he is a legendary piece of shit that should be remembered like most fight promoters - exploitative, lying, hypocritical, fake-tough-guy worms that would get curb-stomped in reality if they didn't have the money/power to let them get away with their loose lips.

I would be fine if he called out fighters for shit that they did...like when Anderson fought Maia.
However him saying people don't want to fight, or booking them before a contract is signed is definitely on him.

He's literally a nobody that had the right friends sir.

I'm neutral when it comes to Dana, just because I can see what the UFC is while others are just blinded by their hate doesn't mean I like Dana.. In the UFC is a business. Without Dana currently being involved with WME, the UFC fighters getting much much less, everyone thinks he's bad for the sport.

Put it this way the fighters who deserve the big bucks get paid accordingly, others don't because they suck at their job. "Fighting." That's the harsh reality. You put these fighters too high on a pedestal, some of them can't even make weight.

You talk about taking advantage, 5% of the people on this site actually support the fighters, the rest on her float about illegally streaming PPV's whilst shitting on said fighters.

Everyone's is a hypocrite and just virtue signalling.

Bro you literally just said "I like the fact he belittles fighters and calls them out on shit" and yet claim to be neutral...

<Neil01>

The long story short is that it should leave a bad taste in your mouth when you see someone get taken advantage of in any situation in life, unless you are a psychopath/sociopath or have some Ayn Rand-esque philosophy of life (might be some Venn diagram overlap in that regards).

Just because I like the way he belittles fighters the ones who deserve it, ones who don't make weight, ones who complain, Tyron Woodley calling racism, denying fights etc.

Why would it leave a bad taste in my mouth? I'm a consumer, I have no stake in this sport. I watch the sport as a consumer. I could care less what they get paid or their financials. I focus on my career, life and family instead of worrying about fighters who make mor than 10% on the planet.

Again, you put these fighters to high on a pedestal, they are grown adults who chose MMA as their career, Dana did not put a gun to their heads and all you people here are a bunch of hypocrites, you know it's true.

Speaking on di topics of former UFC mandem continuing to make money outside of MMA and belittling fighters I love how Bisping call out flinchers ting funny af fam

This is so fucking stupid. I feel sad for everyone involved. Lowering themselves like this for Dana White to make money....
They do it for free? I was under the impression they get paid.. Win or lose?

Are these people not becoming well known within their niche? I noticed they were in an actual venue last night. With a lot of paying customers. As the sport grows. So will the money for everybody. Nobody is being forced into anything against their will. They can make money on the side too, because of their quasi-celebrity status.

I think it’s crazy, and I’d never do it. But it’s their lives.

Do you honestly think they are doing it just so Dana can make money? I’m 99% POSITIVE Dana doesn’t enter into it for them. Why would he, man?

"Lowering themselves for Dana White to make money" was referencing the UFC fighters doing cameos on Power Shit.

I think Paige probably makes more when she gets a different type of meat smacked across her face.
