Power Slap - open handed slap

MMA - Punches, kicks, knees, elbows, slams, spinning backfists, spinning backkicks, flying knees, ground and pound,

Maybe I am missing something but how is this a sport? In MMA you are allowed to not get hit. How is standing still and allowing your "Opponent" to throw and land a possible KO shot a sport? It is also not "Safer" IMO as you are unable to defend yourself. How do they decide who gets to go first since they might KO you and get an immediate win.

They literally do a coin toss to decide who goes first. And they even show the reach pretending it matters lol. I don't think anybody considers it a real sport, just an entertaining circus.
