My friends and I never got the update. Though, we do have auto updates set on our consoles.

The build should be 1116.8 after the update. You can check the build in the Settings menu after pausing the game.
 
Woke up at 5am to play lol, i'm still doing the tutorial type missions. Feels good so far. The environment looks amazing.
 
I don't like the voice acting much... Meh. It's decent.

Hot fucking damn holy shit batman those graphics are insane. I haven't seen much, if anything, that looks better at 2160p.

Going no HUD / first person mode as well. Immersion city.
 
Story is fucking amazing as well.

I'll just come out and say it...

This raised the bar. It's in a league all by itself and the only thing I can think that'll topple it will be Last of Us 2. The writing is good (not amazing), the voice acting is decent but the story itself and immersion from the environments is unreal. It's an extension of the thematic evolution we see in Grand Theft Auto 5. They are aiming for triple A blockbuster quality, and fuck me they nailed it, it's surreal, they really nailed the presentation and visual aesthetic of something I'd expect to see from a top quality western. I wish the writing was darker, I wish they used real racial slang, I wish it felt more... Western. Have the balls to go full McCarthy and video games will further breach the respected high art mediums with ease.

But for what it is so far 10/10 and I don't expect that'll be changing anytime soon.
 
Fired up the old Xbox one for the first time in 2 years just to get this game.
 
Is there a huge difference between ps4 and the ps4 pro re graphics performance?

Thinking about upgrading for this.
 
Installed it not too long ago, it's looking great so far.

From what I've heard there isn't much of a noticable difference. I'm playing on the standard ps4 and it looks great and is running smooth so far.
 
This game is beautiful, it's everything i hoped for. Rockstar does it again.

I think the answer is probably yes if you're playing on a 4k tv. Otherwise no
 
Should be here this morning. Heading home on my lunch break to pop the install disk in and letting it do its thing. Pry won’t get a chance to play until tomorrow but should be set when I do.
 
Calling out of work for this since the install took all last night.
 
So I heard this game is really slow with awful controls. Tons of people complaining. Hype is dying a bit but maybe that is a good thing

Controls aren't awful - it's GTA/rdr with a bit heavier weight to it.
 
This game is the fucking dogs balls. The immersion is amazing.

Arthur brewed coffee and I was like I want coffee so I walked to McDonald's and got coffee 10/10 would coffee again
