So I was just trying out a new fishing spot in Saint Denis after spending 15-20 minutes trying to get a cart pulled in to the right spot for me to load fish in to. Just as I finally get everything set up, a griefer shoots me dead. I come back and he shoots me again as I'm trying to fish. So I head shot him, repeatedly. He just keeps coming back until I hear shots from where my cart was, that asshole killed the horse just to fuck with me since he couldn't kill me again. I was red hot and just killed him repeatedly until he left the game.

Who the fuck shoots a horse?! Some of these toxic motherfuckers man, I just don't understand the satisfaction they get. That was a new low.

For some reason it was almost worse that he was such a garbage player. If he was good and capable of even killing me then I was at the mercy of a better player, but he was just a punk with no skill wasting my time. I mean shit, go play PvP if you want to kill people.

Dude my game is fucking broke. Was playing online, got kicked out of session. Now, its stuck at a black screen where I can choose between story and online, except that I can't choose either one. Its fucking stuck. I turned the xbox off, popped the game out. And it goes back directly to that screen. Everything else about the xbox works perfectly fine. Fucking infuriating

I’m sure that you tried this, but have you unplugged the Xbox from the power source and then plugged it back in? It gives the Xbox a hard reset and reboots it with the green screen. It’s worked for me in the past when it locks up.

Last time i played(which was ages ago) i got sniped by some coward as i was resting in my camp. I respawned and made my way to the tower he had positioned himself on using bushes and a nearby house for cover. I popped out from the opposite side of the house from where he was aiming and dropped him. The coward declined a feud as well.

I met another coward who i exchanged greetings with shoot me dead as i turned away to leave. You'll often see bullets wizz past you courtesy of cowardly snipers who are in the game to grief and nothing more. If that's how Rockstar want the game to be then fine but i won't be playing it until they add either passive mode where you can't harm or be harmed by other players, PVE servers or solo/private lobbies.

Nah it honestly isn't too bad. There's no penalty for dying unless you're headed to a butcher after hunting because the pelts and carcasses on your horse will usually disappear and that definitely sucks when it happens. I can count on one hand how many times I've had something like that cost me though. They're usually a slight inconvenience and easily avoided, that guy who killed my cart horse just found a way to up the douchebaggery without being skilled.

Yea. I had sent a ticket to Rockstar, came back about 45 minutes later and it was working flawlessly. So strange. And I've now done at least 10 gang hideouts and still haven't got a map from it. I'm beginning to think that's an urban legend

So I decided to go full Injun and make a new outfit for Make It Count. Turned out pretty awesome and the first match I played with it was a Make It Count that I won.

And right after I hit level 40 and my treasure map couldn't have been more perfect.

Finally got to play with my nephew and it was a blast. We did one of the missions together and it was really cool coordinating while I took out bandits and he carried our bounty. After that we went and fished sturgeon in the fountain in Saint Denis, I'd get the sturgeon and he'd run them down to the butcher. It's going to be easy money when he gets a rod and the varmint rifle and we can take turns going to the butcher.

It was a lot more fun than I expected. Things like riding from place to place and fishing were a lot less tedious when we could just talk to eachother to pass the time. Really felt like we were hanging out in the wild west. It's going to be nice to have a way to bond with him in the wilderness after moving so far away from my family.

Glad to hear you're up and running again. I haven't had any luck with gang hideouts dropping maps either. It's fun to take them out at least, except for the stupid Maxim guns.

I’m playing Red Dead R 1 with my 11 year old kid and he wants me to play poker. I am not going to teach him even the basics of Hold ‘Em on Xmas without going into starting hands, stats and raising strategy. But I go in and I’ve an Ace and Queen of diamonds, first flop we get another set of diamonds and I go FUCK it and all in and raising. I won $542 bucks after the next two were also diamonds.

I get up and I’ve got $50 bucks more and the poker cheat suit. WTF?

I FINALLY got a treasure map last night. Payoff not nearly the amount as level up maps, but it was still cool to finally get that reward

Right on! I don't mind a lesser payout, I enjoy the search since it's something different, I never really did them in the story mode. I usually get them right as I am looking to buy something and need a little bit more to put me over. I'm working on upgrading my cards now though so I have awhile before I reach my next goal.
