How's that Where Winds Meet game? I haven't tried it yet but heard it just released. I know there are a few people who post here that were looking forward to it.

I have been playing this for a while. There is a TON of content and the gameplay is fun. One of the major problems I have is that there are wayyy too many menus to navigate through. It's really easy to forget where you are, what your rewards are, how to collect rewards, story missions, side missions etc. The whole thing feels bloated and a complete mess. If you're really into the game, you'll take the time to figure it out. But for me, I'm just roaming around looking for upgrades, side missions and bosses.

For for a F2P game, it's hard for me to think of another game that gave you this much stuff for free. The devs really put a lot of work into it and anyone who enjoys these types of RPGs should give it a shot. Really has me hyped for Nioh tbh.

There is that anime RPG, "Genchin Impact" I think it's called. I played it for a bit. That game's content is legit, but much like your problem with this game, it had almost too much shit going on, which I figure is some kind of philosophy with these games to keep you plugging away. The Chinese have cracked some kind of code with these games.

Warframe is Canadian but I see this exact F2P philosophy at work there.

I’d played since early days but stopped for years. Went back a year ago and couldn’t believe all the stuff going on – star chart questing to make Stephen Hawking proud and crafting you need a notepad to keep straight plus a battalion of NPCs and player hubs of interest including real-time P2P market economy.

It was hard for me to get back into and I can’t imagine a new player banging his head hard enough against the permafrost to eventually break through.

It’s probably unfair to call it bloat for games that are F2P and aged years and years (got to keep the lights on after all) but I’d maybe say games this kind have to ‘overevolve’ to stay alive.

Don't even play the game but can't deny this is one of the better controller designs I've seen them make. Probably second best after the Astro Bot one.

I love the game but honestly other than the astro bot controller I just don't like any of the controller designs from PS this gen. I'm good with my standard all black or sky blue controllers.

Same here I think they just all look really tacky, I stick with my black one too, its also why I got my Portal in black too, just looks better

I was so excited for Killing Floor 3 all year, probably one of the bigger disappointments in a while for me. KF2 is probably in my top 3-5 of gaming hours put in on PS4/5.

Glad to try Outlast Trials, heard it was good but not much bang for the buck.

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) today announced a partnership with video game studio Bad Robot Games, a division of Bad Robot, the film, television and theater production company founded by JJ Abrams, for SIE to produce and publish the studio's upcoming project, an unannounced four-player, cooperative shooter directed by Mike Booth (Left 4 Dead). The game is currently in development for PlayStation 5 and PC. More details on the game will be shared at a later date.

"Partnering with Sony Interactive Entertainment allows us to bring our new IP to life, with an expansive vision for this new universe," said Anna Sweet, CEO of Bad Robot Games. "With the support of PlayStation, we hope to deliver a bold, innovative experience that is truly special for players. Honestly, most preview shows this year have been lackluster imo. Especially SGF. Plus I really hate the game awards as a whole, so sitting through a bunch of bullshit for the chance at seeing a preview for a game that may come out in 3 years doesn't appeal to me much. Plus they tend to go overboard anymore on indie stuff ever since they ignored it a few years ago, and you have a show I may leave on in the background.

Remake Part 3 would be great, but I'm keeping my expectations for any announcement at Bloodborne remake at a random direct level of hype.

Wha? I love my cosmic purple PS5 controller. Brings out the Thanos of my inner self. Also have the red one.

This is the first generation of controllers where I actually bought colored or different ones aside from the neutral colors that come with the consoles.

I’m out of the loop but are they remaking the Golden Axe arcade game from when we were kids? The one with the treasure goblins and riding those saddled, dwarven dragons?
