Best part for me is it looks smooth and graphics look nice running on a PS5 so bound to be much more optimized than previous Chinese games on the console. One red flag with previous Chinese game is they didn’t really show much footage off on console until like a week before release:

Seems like a mix of Nioh and Sekiro. It's got the burst counters and parrys. Curious if they'll allow multiple weapons throughout the game or if this was just a weapon showcase. Always a fan of stealing boss weapons after defeating them. It's what made me love Mega Man so much. Not a lot of enemy variety yet.

Someone uploaded the cover art and it's crazy how blatant it is. Apparently they even reached out to Sony to try and work with them to do the game but once Sony said no they just decided to rip off the game anyways.

Nintendo Third Party Showcase today which means we may get some games over here too.

THQ Nordic Digital Showcase tomorrow. We will get new trailers for Reanimal and The Eternal Life of Goldman. Two games I'm still waiting for release dates on.

ChinaJoy is also taking place over the weekend and will showcase Lost Soul Aside and Phantom Blade Zero which are both console exclusives. Sony also announced they'll be funding more projects from China.

Just saw they confirmed PS5 Pro Enhanced at launch. Pretty cool. Super busy with other games right now so maybe on a deep sale if reviews are decent. I'm juggling Wuchang, DK Bananza, and Ninja Gaiden Ragebound. Hoping to finish all three or at least two of three before Shinobi launches because that's the start of the craziness. Nothing but bangers starting then

Just downloaded Lies of P last night; will get to this. At the end of Death Stranding right now. Emotional stuff.

Looks like Bungie will be integrated into PS Studios sooner rather than later after what's happened over the last couple of years

With regards to Bungie, Tao reiterated Sony's decision to take more control over the studio's management, with the eventual aim being to completely integrate it into PlayStation Studios.

"About the governance of Bungie, at the time of acquisition we were offering a very independent environment, so that was one way of thinking," Tao explained. "However, thereafter, we have gone through structural reform, as we announced last year, so this independence is getting lighter, and Bungie is shifting into a role which is becoming more part of PlayStation Studios, and integration is proceeding.

"So in the long term, if you can see this as an ongoing process, the direction [for Bungie] is to become part of PlayStation Studios."
