Well it wouldn't be GSP lol.

Don't underestimate Canadian viewership and homos with accent fetishes.

To them wet blanket sessions just mean a full 25 minutes to stare at his ass.

GSP would still be a star. People forget how nasty he looked in 3 round fights. He demolished people. Plus he's a good looking and very likable guy. If he was starting out now one thing he'd be lacking is the signature wins over Hughes and BJ. Wins over legends like that aren't easily replaceable.

That said, Conor's persona is tough to top. Conor would definitely outshine GSP in the short term but GSP would have more longevity. Whether Conor can stay on top for very long is a major question mark.

Ronda's star power is really just Zuffa cashing in on the girl power fad right now. No one who really follows the sport even likes her.

MM is basically a small version of GSP. Tough to out GSP when you're spotting him 50 lbs.

How do we define bigger star? Drawing power? Cuz if it's based on drawing power, I'm about as big of a star as MM. Which is a damn shame, that dude is a bad ass fighter...when he first won the championship he had a run of decisions and that made people label him as boring, but he's finished 5 of his last 7 fights. GSP on the other hand has decisioned his last 7 fights.
