Tonight is a great opportunity for Hunt to show he is still relevant at the top of the division in 2018 and keep building towards a title shot. Curtis Blaydes has a lot of hype behind him and he is a solid wrestler but he is heading behind enemy lines to Perth and the reality is, he has never stood across the Octagon from a fighter with Mark's power, pedigree, depth of experience and technical striking credentials.

Blaydes got stopped by Ngannou and was unable to impose his grappling upon him. Mark is very strong with a low centre of gravity and Curtis will have difficulty accessing the clinch or shot without taking damage. I do rate him as probably the best prospect at HW at this point but he just doesn't have the tools to take this fight where he wants it and once he feels Super Samoan's power he is going to realise he is out of his depth. Hunt looked excellent against Lewis and has been training very hard for this fight.
Mark Hunt by KO.
