If you've been around people who have taken the ride from wellness to full-blown senile dementia you will recognize that Biden is clearly well into the first stage of the disease.

Part of it is quite literally in the eyes. I remember the first time I saw that "lost" almost frightened look in my mother's eyes that Joe possesses (and that you do not see at all in interviews from 2016). She was still making quite a bit of sense but something was way off.

I knew in my gut the writing was on the wall. We took her in for cognitive testing and... sure enough. The ride from there to her death was grueling and tragic.

I have been and I don’t see that same thing in Joe to be honest. I’ve seen it multiple times, am dealing with it right now in a parent in early stages. They are all different and you have to really know someone to know what is normal/abnormal for each individual (ie some people have been forgetting people’s names all their lives, others never have) so it’s definitely possible but it doesn’t ring true to me. It generally resembles dementia in that there is forgetfulness but the nature of the forgetfulness and his reactions don’t seem like it to me. Only time will tell though. I don’t think he’s going to be president anyway
