but regardless the same online movement that pushed the narratives in the last election has already done a great job of creating and pushing this narrative. They had Bernie pegged as a communist and had the dementia card in their pocket for Biden. Probably don’t even need it but at this stage it looks like the writing is on the wall for trumps re-election.

The second piece of evidence to consider is that in December, Biden released a three-page summary of his medical history in which “his doctor declared he is a ‘healthy, vigorous’ 77-year-old fully capable of taking on the role of president.” Here is what Stuart Jay Olshansky, a professor of public health at the University of Illinois at Chicago who analyzes the longevity of presidents, said about cognitive abilities after reviewing the report.

“The only test that hasn’t been done is the cognitive functioning test,” Olshansky added. “But the fact that he’s on the campaign trail and meeting a rigorous travel and meeting schedule probably would suffice as a replacement for the formal test for cognitive functioning.”

He said that cognitive tests are typically not required unless problems are detected.

Lol I don’t have a sister he didn’t actually confuse them, he mistook who was on which side. If you’ve been around people with dementia they actually forget who people close to them are, forget when/where they are etc.

It’s still not a good look, it’s at best a sign that there’s too much on his plate and his thinking is jumbled. But let’s be honest if he didn’t make these gaffes he’d get attacked for something else, that’s the nature of American politics at the moment.

In all honesty, they should have made G W Bush the president sometime there.
They did the same thing for Wilson. Should not be ok. I can see covering for a week or so to make sure power plays aren't made, but not for any extended amount of time.

That was definitely true starting sometime mid-second term. I’m old enough to remember it first hand. He was not like that in his re-election campaign and he ABSOLUTELY wasn’t like that during the primary campaign for his first term.

If you've been around people who have taken the ride from wellness to full-blown senile dementia you will recognize that Biden is clearly well into the first stage of the disease.

Part of it is quite literally in the eyes. I remember the first time I saw that "lost" almost frightened look in my mother's eyes that Joe possesses (and that you do not see at all in interviews from 2016). She was still making quite a bit of sense but something was way off.

I knew in my gut the writing was on the wall. We took her in for cognitive testing and... sure enough. The ride from there to her death was grueling and tragic.
