Official: CM Punk War Wagon!

Suck shit you bunch of smucks back to the WWE.
OMG thank you for gracing us with your presence. I'm going to take a screen shot of your response to show my grand kids one day that a superior being such as yourself actually took time out of his buzy schedule to communicate with us.

I'm still on the Punk bandwagon. At least he fought, and he was all class.

War Punk!

That's what It's all about. The resistance thinks we're just gonna bail on our fighter because he lost. Didn't look good tonight, but there's a lot more to it.

you didnt expect a brown belt to steamroll a white belt?

In Dec. 2014 Cole Miller rated him above blue belt. Yes, we didn't see it tonight but high level guys get made to look bad against higher level guys all the time. Doesn't mean Punk isn't a high level guy. Case in point: Maia/Nelson. If I had never seen Nelson fight prior... I would be completely convinced he didn't know the 1st thing about BJJ.

next time some actor gets the itch to fight real men, they have this as an example
Meh, hard to argue since it just happened... but Punk is much more than an actor. He's a stunt man. On top of that, he'z got a BJJ background. Sorry a higher level BJJ practitioner made it look like he doesn't but he does.

WHITE BELT....NO EXPERIENCE...
What did you expect to happen?
That was a shady area going in... but in hindsight it just means that Gall was better. Doesn't mean Punk has no skills.

It's kind of perfect that the UFC denied Gall the Mickey song & then ended up using it. He's now the rebel kid that made the UFC suck it. Builds his brand. I like it.

I can't get that f*ckin' song out of my mind now! lol.
Yeah, I gotta say Mickey's the one profiting from this CM Punk thing the most. He got a spot in the big leauge's even though he doesn't really deserve it and is now 2-0 with the entire world knowing him as the guy that tapped Punk and used that catchy as fuck song. I think he should continue using it, if it catches on and I don't see why it shouldn't, it could be like Wand and Sandstorm or Cro Cop and Wild Boys. Instant brand recognition.

I didn't win anything. As I said before this fight happened, I don't pride myself off telling people 2+1=3. This is what it was. It wasn't a competition for people that know what goes into this. It was paid hunt for Gall, and hopefully you've learned from this and don't embrace these kind of mismatches again. It's not good for the fighters (especially the guy getting mauled), or the fans watching that get wild thoughts about what this is and end up hurting themselves or others.

MMA is real and can't be taken as lightly as a lot of you guys have taken it here.
I told you, and you didn't listen. MMA isn't a game. BJJ isn't a game. I said you would see first hand just how big of a skill difference there is on the ground and you did. It takes a lot of time and effort to get good at any martial art, and it's twice as difficult for BJJ. This'll be good learning experience for you. Perhaps maybe you'll even join a BJJ gym and learn more about it. It's a brilliant martial art.

He's a few striped white belt. BJJ, especially at that level is more how physically inclined you are to be able to separate yourself from others due to a lack of experience. He's not very athletic. Most blue belts in good shape would've defended better.

You don't know me. what I've done & the training I've been through. I've sweated blood & tears & pushed my body to lengths very few have. You continually communicate to me like just because I backed Punk & thought his past training would complement his current training that I don't know what I'm talking about. I actually do happen to know a bit about what I'm talking about.

It is very refreshing that you're able to talk about this without blatant insults... but your insinuated insults are still understood & I don't care for them either.

Moving on...

Okay, he's "officially" a striped white belt... but we heard he was purple belt level... & I felt like his life time of workin at it since 1994 would've amounted to more when he fought. In his fight with Gall he did not show that. However, that doesn't mean he sucks... that just means Gall was better. Maia/Gunnar being an example. Not comparing skill level to punk... but just saying that if that was the one & only fight you ever saw Gunnar in, you would swear to god he didn't know the 1st thing about BJJ. Same with Punk... just because he looked bad doesn't mean he doesn't have skills.

Anywayz... I'm eating mass crow... on this... but I'm not going to blow it out of proportion either. You speak of respecting the art. What about Punks experience? Are you just sweeping that under the rug like he did nothing?

I can't blame the writers for choosing a coherent script and no outside interferences.
The post-fight promo is clearly (clearly and humbly) setting up "The Redemption of Cm Punk" - 13 episodes series.
Everything is under control: Phil getting cut and the "Autumn-Winter of Punk" will be a work.
On a side note, insane potential for a "Cocky Heel Gall vs Babyface Northcutt" storyline.

He came out to the Mickey song... lol

Never cared for the song... but it waz kind of cool that the UFC had to suck it due to the internet response that came after they told him not to use it. I ended up digging it actually. haha... can't get that f*ckin' song out of my mind now... haha
That's hilarious, man! Well it's good to see Dana White gets continually overruled by things he acts like he has control over. I was in a noisy bar so couldn't tell what the song was so was just wondering.

Okay guys...

To the non-CM Punk fans: You won. CM Punk got humiliated. No need to beat a dead horse and rub it in anymore to his fans. Let's let it go and move on and be cool to each other. I know it's not really Sherdog-like but come on lol

To CM Punk fans: With respect, I told you so. Maybe I didn't really say it that way 'cos I think I was starting to consider the hype, but since I didn't know Mickey Gall either I tried to stay neutral. See you guys next discussion!

I just bought a PPV & I'm trying to watch it. can we talk about all this later... haha... F*ckin' HW title fight about to start right now.

Punk is higher than white belt... no doubt about it... but he sure didn't look like it tonight.
I'd like to say that Punk fought like a bitch, but he actually didn't fight at all. You know why? Because he's not a fighter. He never was and he never will be. Brock is not a fighter either; however, Brock has a base skill - wrestling - and athleticism that he could rely on.

I'm glad that Punk lost...badly. He's in it for the long haul? This is just the beginning of his career? NOPE! He embarrassed himself. Dana, Roufus, and others should have talked to Punk and told him that his ambitions were based in fantasy. That he had no business trying to fight in the big leagues, much less the bush leagues. He's a 37 y/o former performer who should've bought front row seats if he wanted to be involved in MMA. Punk would have a hard time winning on the amateur circuit.

I doubt that Dana tries a stunt like this in the next 5 years. Good riddance Punk. The UFC will not promote another fight and no commission in the USA will give Punk a license to fight.

Adios CM.

I just explained my point of view in my previous post to yours... same thing applies to what you're saying
